Formal Requests for Bids, Quotations and Proposals
City of Santee invites qualified vendors or contractors to bid on products or services listed below. The notices are published in the East County Californian and occasionally in the San Diego Union-Tribune at least 10 days before the bid opening date.
Formal bids, quotations and proposals are required to be submitted on city proposal forms and returned in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bidder’s name and the city’s bid number. They may be mailed or hand delivered to the City Clerk’s Office at 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Santee, CA 92071. Facsimiles are not accepted. Late submittals will be returned unopened as the city will not accept bids received after stated deadlines.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the most complete and current version of the bid document has been downloaded or otherwise obtained, including any addenda. Bids received without acknowledgement of applicable addenda may be rejected.

WORK TO BE DONE: The City of Santee, hereinafter referred to as “City”, is requesting bids to provide: 1) alarm MONITORING services, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, for existing security systems and fire alarm systems; 2) quarterly and annual INSPECTIONS of existing security systems, fire alarm systems and fire sprinklers; and 3) AS-NEEDED REPAIRS for existing security systems, fire alarm systems, fire sprinklers and access control equipment, at various City locations in accordance with the terms of the Contract Documents described herein.
BID DUE DATE: Wednesday – September 18, 2018 by 1:00 P.M. in the Office of the City Clerk, 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Building 3, Santee, CA 92071. Late bids will be returned unopened.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE TOUR: Wednesday – September 12, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Santee City Hall, Community Services Department conference room, 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Building 6, Santee, CA 92071. Bidders will be responsible for providing their own transportation.
