The City of Santee is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals/organizations to provide concession services at Mast Park, located at 9125 Carlton Hills Boulevard, Santee, California.
Mast Park is nearing completion of a complete reconstruction. Upon re-opening in Fall of 2019, the 30-acre park will offer expanded picnic shelter space and new recreation amenities for persons of all ages. The renovated park will feature a large dog park, a lighted loop trail and a state-of-the-art 9-hole disc golf course.
A 170-square-foot concession building will be located between the dog park and the first hole of the disc golf course. The building will have electrical service but no cooking facilities, water or sewer connections. The concession building has a counter with a roll-up closure.
The City seeks a contractor to provide all staffing, equipment and supplies associated with a concession operation consistent with City's policies. The concessionaire will consult with the City in planning concession operations. It is anticipated that concession operations, including hours, food and merchandise, will focus on and support principal park activities and amenities.
