Formal Requests for Bids, Quotations and Proposals
City of Santee invites qualified vendors or contractors to bid on products or services listed below. The notices are published in the East County Californian and occasionally in the San Diego Union-Tribune at least 10 days before the bid opening date.
Formal bids, quotations and proposals are required to be submitted on city proposal forms and returned in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bidder’s name and the city’s bid number. They may be mailed or hand delivered to the City Clerk’s Office at 10601 Magnolia Avenue, Santee, CA 92071. Facsimiles are not accepted. Late submittals will be returned unopened as the city will not accept bids received after stated deadlines.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the most complete and current version of the bid document has been downloaded or otherwise obtained, including any addenda. Bids received without acknowledgement of applicable addenda may be rejected.

Project: Mission Gorge Rd – Edgemoor Dr Signal Modification Project CIP 2018-04
Description: Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified on the plans and in the specifications including but not limited to removing existing traffic signal poles and foundations, furnishing and installing new traffic signal poles and foundations, furnishing and installing new traffic signal equipment, installing new traffic signal conduit and patching and repairing the roadway, rewiring the entire traffic signal, replacing pedestrian ramps, and all related and necessary work as defined in the contract documents.
