|The Santee Teen Center is an after-school and summer break drop-in recreation program designed for pre-teens and teens in grades 6 - 12, up to age 17. The Center is staffed by City of Santee employees who are CPR and first aid certified and have completed specialized teen-oriented training. Please see the Information Page for hours of operation and accepted ages.|

During the school year monthly Teen Center activities range from informative presentations, to hands on skill building, outdoor exploration, organized games and much more. Study hour is scheduled daily from 3:00 - 4:00pm. Check out the August calendar.
|Don't miss out on all the Teen Happenings at the Santee Teen Center. Daily programming consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Teens at the center are involved in the programming and are encouraged to help design and implement the daily activities.|
|Transportation to the Santee Teen Center is available from all Santee School District locations, with the exception of Chet F. Harritt (walking distance). A Teen Center Membership is required and participants must register monthly to ride the bus.|

|Financial aid is available for Santee residents to participate in recreation programs and trips. Submit your VIP application to find out if you are eligible for a $45 credit. participants may apply for financial assistance once every quarter and the credit may be applied to any activity requiring a fee.|
