When Del Mar opened in 1937, Bing Crosby was at the gate to personally greet the fans and was a fixture at the track for many years. He was also a fixture at the track for many years. He was also a founding member of the Del Mar Turf Club. The Santee Seniors 55+ program will be taking a chartered bus to the track to enjoy an afternoon of racing, food and fun. We will be sitting at the clubhouse tables where you can order food and beverages of your choice (not included in the price of admission).
