Parking Citations
Parking citations issued in Santee by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department or by City of Santee Code Enforcement can be paid online, by mail with the provided envelope, or in person at the City's Finance Department, located in Building 3.
CVC 40220 allows for installment payments to qualifying low-income individuals who apply within 120 days from the issuance of a notice of parking violation, or within 10 days after an administrative hearing determination, whichever is later. I received a parking citation for not displaying my handicap placard; Can I contest the citation?
- Request dismissal of citation by completing the Request for Dismissal Form, within 21 days of the citation.
- Provide the original parking citation, copy of disabled placard and a copy of disabled placard registration (not vehicle registration)

How can I pay for a parking citation?
- You may pay citations online at PayMyCite Note: Online payments are subject to a $3.95 convenience fee.
- Mail payment using the envelope provided with the original citation to: City of Santee c/o Parking Citation Services P.O. Box 11923 Santa Ana, CA 92711
- Mail payment to the City of Santee by mailing original citation with check or money order to: City of Santee Attn: Finance Department 10601 Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071
Pay citation in person at the City of Santee Finance Department: 10601 Magnolia Avenue Santee, CA 92071 - Checks or money orders should be made payable to the "City of Santee". Please write the citation number on your check or money order. The citation number is in red ink in the upper left hand corner on the front of the citation. DO NOT MAIL CASH!

How do I contest a parking citation?
- Contest the violation by completing a Request for Administrative Review of Notice of Parking Violation, within 21 days of the citation issue date or 14 days from delinquent parking notice
