Boards, Commissions & Committees
The City's Advisory Boards
Many of them have opportunities for appointing members of the public. Appointment to such a body, regardless of its formal designation, is both an honor and a heavy responsibility.
Notwithstanding the self-discipline required in public service, each Board, Commission or Committee member may take considerable pride in being an integral part of the process which contributes to the sound government of this City, and for this service, the City Council is most appreciative.
If you are interested or would like further information, please contact the City Clerk. Applications may be submitted by completing the online application form or alternatively, you may complete and print out the application form, or you may pick one up at the City Clerk's Office.
Please keep in mind that all appointments require meeting attendance and most require Santee residency.
