Santee Teen Center

At Big Rock Park

The Santee Teen Center is an afternoon recreation program designed for pre-teens and teens. Weekly programming consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to provide enriching opportunities that are age appropriate and fun.

Programming at the Santee Teen Center is available from 2 - 6pm, Monday - Friday.

Note: An annual Teen Center membership is required to participate in all programming.

Membership Information

Annual membership fee for the Santee Teen Center @ Big Rock Park:
$57 for residents
$72 for non-residents.

Monthly Calendar

Daily programming consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and homework assistance is available on a daily basis. Teens at the center are involved in the programming and encouraged to help design and implement the daily activities.

After-School Transportation

After-school transportation is available during the school year from Santee School District locations to the Santee Teen Center for grades 6 - 8.

Transportation is not available for students in grade 5 or those attending Chet F. Harritt school.

Financial Assistance

Financial aid is available for Santee residents to participate in recreation programs and trips. Submit your yearly VIP application to find out if you are eligible for a $57 credit. Participants may apply for financial assistance once every quarter and the credit may be applied to any activity requiring a fee.
