Public Notice: Possible Power Shutoffs

Published Wednesday, November 6, 2024

Please be advised we are expecting strong Santa Ana winds this evening (11/5) through the evening of Friday (11/8). SDG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff may be possible in the next 24-48 hours. We want to encourage citizens to have a back-up plan for power, lights and food. In addition, please be prepared for the potential of vegetation fires.

We recommend visiting SDG&E's Public Safety Power Shutoffs webpage for outage maps, Community Resource Centers and available support. If you or a family member uses a medical powered device please have proactive communication with SDGE.

Genasys Protect - The County of San Diego and its local governments have adopted Genasys Protect, an emergency communications system, to provide emergency information in addition to the AlertSanDiego system.
