Sandbags supplies are available to Santee residents at the City's Operations Yard (9534 Via Zapador, Santee).

Effective January 1, 2025, the state of California passed Assembly Bill 413 (the “Daylighting” Law), which requires a clear zone around crosswalks to reduce traffic accidents.
